Copywriter
This role will be located in the San Francisco office once reopened. We accept applications from those located in SF or open to relocation pre-start. This role does not offer relocation.

We are looking for a growth-minded Copywriter with a refined aesthetic to join our fast-growing creative team.
The Copywriter is responsible for working within the Copy & Editorial team to create compelling copy and content cross-channel that support the evolution of our brand identity. The right candidate will be an expert wordsmith, with great wit, an eye for grammar, word play, humor, and an understanding of what makes memorable messaging. An exceptional writer, they’ll be able to think strategically about word choice and copy cadence to help energize our brand voice and aesthetic. The candidate must be deadline oriented, able to translate edits into creatively cohesive work, and understand the importance of cross-team collaboration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work within the Copy & Editorial team to create compelling copy and content across all channels and brand projects including site, email, social, video, print and packaging.
- Take direction from the Senior Content Editor to build upon foundational messaging to execute seasonal campaigns and product launches while partnering with cross channel marketing partners to deliver on unique channel needs
- Maintain core brand DNA and values while continuously seeking to seasonally elevate the overall brand voice across all channels.
- Stay current on trends, culture, and events; bring inspiring external insight into the work and have a natural curiosity for data.
- Work with cross channel partners to glean key performance insights and seamlessly apply these learnings in day-to-day copy to yield high-performing messaging
- Regularly meet project deadlines and be a true partner in finding workflow efficiencies
- Be solution-oriented in the face of challenges.

QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 2 to 5 years of relevant experience, with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, English, Journalism or another related discipline
- Proven ability to deliver creative copy that meets the standards and aesthetic laid out by the Senior Content Editor
- Exceptional editorial aesthetic, with great wit, an eye for grammar, word play, humor, and an understanding of what makes memorable messaging
- Strong communication skills and understanding on how to approach copy in different mediums to drive conversion and engagement
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates ability to come up with original ideas and innovative approaches across channels
- Ability to prioritize and manage work, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
