Coordinator, Radio Promotion, Provident Entertainment

Franklin, TN

As a Coordinator, Radio Promotion, you will support the overall promotion efforts of the Provident Label Group and RCA Inspiration National Promotions teams. This opportunity allows for creation of weekly radio chart updates for PLG and RCAI artists and managers, as well as administrative functions such as tracking and monitoring budgeted expenditures, preparing and processing expense reports and maintaining the team's radio contact databases.

What you'll do:

  • Provide general administrative assistance to the PLG and RCAI National Promotions teams
  • Manage incoming requests for music servicing and product from radio station clients
  • Assist in planning and execution of radio events and promotions
  • Serve as a liaison to Broadcast Data System (BDS) and Mediabase for support and technical needs, including encoding of all songs
  • Complete quarterly payola compliance letters for all radio stations in coordination with Sony Music Compliance Officer
  • Manage the creation and uploading of digital singles to Play MPE and Promo Tools, and related outbound communications
  • Assist PLG and RCAI radio promoters with special projects as approved by the VPs of National Promotions
  • Assist in coordinating artist interviews with radio stations
  • Assist PLG and RCAI radio promoters with maintaining professional relationships with radio programmers, including occasionally traveling for meetings, conventions, and promotional concerts
  • Participate in single strategy, marketing, management and related meetings

Who you are:

  • 1 year of experience in an administrative role is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous knowledge of the Christian music industry a plus
  • Ability to work in a complex, continually changing work environment
  • Willingness to learn and apply learned skills to the workplace. Ability to adjust to new situations encountered on the job within a reasonable amount of time
  • Ability to operate in a team environment while functioning in a vital role on that team
  • Ability to observe strict confidentiality and discretion regarding sensitive issues concerning department staff, in-house projects, artists, & managers
  • Ability to meet deadlines, accomplish work in order of priority, and maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions
  • Ability to work effectively and relate positively with others including superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the Company
  • Ability to manage and leverage relationships to attain desired results.
  • Ability to apply efforts in a way that maximizes opportunities and desired results, and to prioritize, meet deadlines, work on multiple tasks simultaneously, and maintain composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions
  • Ability to suggest and implement new systems for increased efficiency and accuracy of department
