Coordinator, Marketing Communications

Nutley, NJ

The Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for managing the development and strategic execution of Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Stores – North America (PFS-NA) marketing initiatives. This individual is accountable for contributing to marketing programs that generate profit, drive traffic, meet both the division’s financial and marketing goals and differentiate the brand within the outlet channel to deliver a best in class customer experience.  The Marketing Communication Coordinator is responsible for fostering productive cross-functional relationships with internal/external partners that help build and execute profitable marketing strategies.  Teamwork, leadership, process, relationship management and effective communication, as well as attention to detail, are critical aspects of this position's responsibilities.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

Optimize Customer Engagement

  • Partner with the team to develop quarterly/annual marketing strategies for all marketing campaigns; ensure alignment with other marketing initiatives including timing, format, and content
  • Manage all marketing projects from concept development through execution
  • Define marketing initiatives to align with North America plans
  • Support development of onsite signage strategy to secure optimal placement and increase efficiency of investment; manage tracking documents for In-Center Signage; maintain library of contracts and inventory

 

Increase Productivity

  • Establish & manage relationships with internal partners; ensuring branded content and promotions are accurately represented
  • Meet with cross-functional team to review business results against projections and plans to inform future decisions
  • Support financial strategies by utilizing historical performance, current trend analysis, market research and cross-functional feedback in partnership with team


Process Leadership

  • Manage maintenance of daily/weekly tracking of business results; understand impact of marketing programs to PFS-NA business and communicate findings
  • Manage weekly, quarterly, and yearly marketing hindsight documents
  • Develop weekly communication to the field regarding applicable Marketing programs via the Company’s intranet
  • For all initiatives, ensure resources are in place, budgets are optimized, and projects are managed efficiently, flawlessly and on time; partner with manager and cross functional/divisional peers

 

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

Education

  • Bachelor’s (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or equivalent

  • Aptitude to understand and apply marketing data analytics
  • Manage short- and long-term deadlines simultaneously and effectively

  • Some weekend travel required

 

Systems Knowledge
