Coordinator, Human Resources

The Human Resources Coordinator provides first line Human Resources operational support for their assigned business in partnership with the respective HR Advisory Partner or Manager and Talent Acquisition.   

  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to facilitate on-site candidate experience.
  • Ensure positive day-one experience for new hires including, but not limited to, initiating and monitoring background and drug screen, coordinating onboarding activities, insuring accuracy of paperwork and hiring details in HRIS initiate technology provisioning, coordinating IT and Facilities engagement.
  • Collaborates with Partner, Employee Engagement to transition new hires from day-one to comprehensive onboarding program.
  • Proactively supports EPRI’s HR policies and programs and engages policy owners or subject matter experts where appropriate.
  • In support of EPRI’s service culture, provides timely delivery in responding to manager and employee inquiries and escalates questions when needed.
  • Understands, manages and audits employee data (Workday) for assigned businesses. Responsible for accurate processing of all employee actions from hire to termination.
  • Supports HR Advisory Partner/Manager in monthly/quarterly HR business reporting process.
  • Assists with implementation of HR programs and processes and support change management as needed.
  • Participates and understands annual processes such as performance and compensation calibrations, workforce planning and talent reviews in order to support HR Advisory Managers and Partners. 
  • Works with HR shared resources to facilitate successful deployment and sustainability of HR processes (examples - open benefits enrollment, goal setting, training and development, tuition reimbursement, leave management).
  • Assists with administrative tasks and other duties as assigned. This may include office/clerical work as well as coordination of communication activities.
  • Participates in and may lead small HR projects as required.
  • Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
  • Provides backup for other Human Resources Coordinators, as needed.


Education

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business or HR-related major preferred) or equivalent experience in HR
  • Experience supporting organizations across multiple locations and/or time zones preferred
  • Experience working in highly matrixed organizations preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with proven attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with HRIS administration, Workday preferred.
  • Capability to handle administrative support role with a high degree of attention to detail and organization in (data management, spreadsheets, scheduling and other tasks)
  •  A general understanding of Human Resources.
  • Demonstrated strong ability to identify, analyze, negotiate and problem solve.
  • Capability of performing multiple and complex tasks with limited direction, while having the judgment to know when to ask for directions.


The salary range for this position is $52,250 USD to $65,625 USD annually.This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on various factors, including without limitation applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.


The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This role is eligible to participate in EPRI’s annual incentive program. The amount of incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the plan.
