Coordinator, Event Operations and Accreditation

The NFL Events Access Control team is seeking someone with a passion for event operations who wants to gain tremendous experience working on one of the largest sports and entertainment events in the world.


The full-time role would be responsible for supporting the NFL Accreditation Manager in the end to end accreditation of 40,000+ individuals at Super Bowl.


The ideal candidate will have in depth knowledge of and experience with large scale event accreditation and management. Additionally this person must possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.


This role is based out of New York City and will require a significant amount of travel.


Responsibilities

  • Support NFL Accreditation Manager in all facets of Super Bowl accreditation process 
  • Work closely with accreditation manager on oversight and management of NFL credential database
  • Serve as accreditation and access control lead for non-Super Bowl tentpole events
  • Facilitate data entry and changes/updates to NFL accreditation database on a daily basis for Super Bowl, Pro Bowl, International Series Games, NFL Combine and NFL Draft
  • Communicate complex credential process guidelines to key vendors to ensure deadlines are met
  • Support vendor contacts with credential process on a day-to-day basis and address issues as they arise
  • Serve as liaison among event vendors, NFL and contracted security, local and federal law enforcement, venue operations, broadcast partners and production
  • Oversee and manage on-site operations of credential production and distribution vendor with staff of 10 – 15
  • Support overall Gameday Teammate Check-In operation on Super Bowl Sunday 
  • Additional duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Experience with large scale event management and accreditation a MUST 
  • Successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Proactive self-starter who works well within a team, strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively delegate
  • Proven accomplishments in organization and management of people and processes
  • Ability to lead others and collaborate with a variety of groups at different levels
  • Ability to implement and meet deadlines
  • Possess IT, software and database development experience
  • Knowledge of League and team business and operating units
  • Solid writing, communication and organizational skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • High-end client servicing experience
  • Experience in stadium operations
  • Bi-lingual

Physical Demands

  • This is a live event production role and, at times, will require physicality. This could involve lifting, moving heavy objects, extended periods outdoors in inclement weather, long hours of physical movement during show production, extensive travel requirements, site builds and adjustment of physical assets. 


Travel: Significant travel required, up to 40%


Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.


Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • FSLA Exempt 
  • NFL employees are required to work 40 hours per week.
