Content Marketing Manager

Our Professional Information Business (PIB) marketing team is growing rapidly and is actively seeking highly motivated and passionate people for several open roles.


The Dow Jones PIB powers businesses, governments and financial institutions with award-winning journalism, robust data sets, a rich archive of premium content and flexible information tools.


The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for bringing Dow Jones' B2B value propositions to life. You will develop messaging and oversee content creation to support all B2B products, marketing campaigns, events and initiatives. You will bring a strong work ethic and a natural affinity for teamwork in order to collaborate across the PIB marketing team, the corporate partnerships team and with stakeholders in several other Dow Jones business units.


About The Role

  • Own content and message development for all marketing campaigns, events and initiatives across Dow Jones’ B2B brands and the corporate partnerships team.
  • Create compelling multimedia content that supports the company’s objectives and desired identity and builds awareness.
  • Oversee the content production process and management/deployment of the content.
  • Craft and maintain a content strategy that encompasses internal goals and aligns with the brand’s external image.
  • Collaborate with brand marketers, creative team, demand generation team and external vendors to create and edit content and monitor its effectiveness over time.
  • Safeguard brand tone of voice and style across all channels and materials.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and what competitors are doing.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum five years in a marketing, communications or content creation role, ideally with B2B experience or equivalent.
  • Ability to conceive original and appealing ideas for new content for a variety of audiences and mediums that establishes or supports brand identity and meets company objectives.
  • Advanced written and verbal communications skills with a strong command of the English language, as well as the ability to write for a global audience. Basic understanding of The Associated Press Stylebook is a plus.
  • Expertise in using SEO best practices to write creative copy that includes keywords.
  • Experience with social media engagement strategies.
  • Basic technical knowledge of WordPress.
