Content Manager

The W Studios team is looking for a Content Manager to join our team!


Our content manager is part of the TV development process for our broadcast novelas and streaming series using their knowledge on TV development and the Hispanic audience. They are also responsible for the selection of the cast and is the middle-man between production and all the talent. They also oversee the shoot and post-production from the perspective of what is best for the story.


ABOUT YOU:

You are passionate about storytelling and how it reaches a large audience. Strategic about what we produce yet not scared to innovate in this environment. You have a talent for handling relationships with talent. Collaborative; no individual is above anyone else because the project is the priority.


YOUR DAY-DAY: (aka Responsibilities)

  • You will analyze prospective projects and provide feedback to team on their potential
  • You will read development materials and give feedback throughout the process (synopsis, character profiles, scripts)
  • You will attend and participate in all development meetings
  • You will create a process for cast selection that is best suited for each project
  • You will manage the relationship with the cast and will be the middleman between the marketing department and the talent


YOU HAVE: (aka Qualifications)

Bachelor’s degree

  • 3 years of direct experience in content development
  • 5 years of experience in the media industry
  • Talent relationship experience is preferred
