The Executive and Equity Compensation Senior Analyst is responsible for crafting, implementing, and leading executive compensation programs and equity incentives at Salesforce. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with company goals, and staying current on industry best practices to attract and retain top talent.


Key Responsibilities:

Executive Compensation Design:

  • Develop, implement, and run executive compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, and long-term incentives.
  • Conduct market analysis to ensure competitive and equitable executive compensation practices.
  • Provide mentorship on executive pay decisions and offer recommendations to leadership.


Equity Compensation Management:

  • Lead all aspects of equity programs, including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), and performance restricted stock units (PRSUs).
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
  • Collaborate with legal and finance teams to handle equity-related documentation and disclosures.


Data Analysis and Benchmarking:

  • Analyze compensation data and market trends to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Benchmark executive and equity compensation against industry peers to advise decision-making.


Communication and Education:

  • Communicate executive and equity compensation programs to employees, executives, and partners.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide educational materials to improve understanding of compensation programs.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with ES business partners, finance, legal, executive recruiting and other relevant functional partners to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to compensation strategy.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed.


Experience/Skills Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in Compensation or Analyst in a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Several years of experience in executive and equity compensation analysis and administration.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to executive compensation and equity programs.
  • Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to synthesize sophisticated data into simple consumable deliverables with clear takeaways
  • Ability to independently address analytical requests: understand the ask, capture data, build models, perform analyses, validate assumptions, and summarize & present results
  • Must be able to lead multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines
  • Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills; process-oriented
  • Expert Excel skills: model building, use of advanced formulas and arrays, pivot tables, data manipulation, VBA
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools - Tableau preferred.
  • PowerPoint / Google Slides: develop presentations with a summary of analytics/findings

For Colorado-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $91,000 to $125,200.For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $100,100 to $137,600.Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
