Compensation & Benefits Analyst

Norwalk, CT

This position at Booking Holdings (BHI) will play a critical role in supporting the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) team in providing best in class C&B policy, processes and support to Booking Holdings leadership and employees.

 

Primary focuses of the role will be analytical and audit related, supporting the current C&B team and working with C&B specialists in the brands and external partners such as vendors supporting our compensation, retirement and health & welfare policies & programs.


Responsibilities:

  • Carry out job evaluations leveraging Mercer’s International Position Evaluation (IPE) tool
  • Carry out ad hoc compensation analysis for BHI and brand executives leveraging market data to ensure competitive positioning
  • Support offer process by working within the guidelines to produce new hire offer recommendations
  • Support annual budget process, executive compensation planning, and bonus SOX process
  • Support annual compensation planning process executed in Workday
  • Support headcount tracking for quarterly forecasts aligning with FP&A, recruitment, and senior leaders’ needs
  • Complete salary survey submission and management; partner with survey houses such as Mercer, Radford, Willis Towers Watson
  • Respond to day-to-day questions from Booking Holdings employees and those escalated from brand benefits teams regarding 401(k) 
  • Assist Retirement Plan Manager with education materials and miscellaneous presentations
  • Support all 401(k)-related audit processes such as:
  • monitoring timely brand contribution submissions for payroll contributions and new hires. 
  • partnering with brands to resolve overdue loans, uncashed checks, invalid and missing data etc.;
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate system access for record keeper system
  • Audit of payroll, HRIS and record keeper records to ensure accuracy and consistency of 401k data
  • Respond to external 401k plan audit and compliance review requests
  • Support Manager North American Benefits as a liaison to brand HR benefit administrators to execute audit requests, and support in vendor enrollment issues, and invoice reconciliation and approval 
  • Answer day-to-day questions from Booking Holdings employees regarding benefits programs, and support employee benefits onboarding
  • Provide support in the designing, testing and maintaining Benefit Administration Tools (Workday) and reporting


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree – preferably finance/ business/analytics based
  • At least 1-2 years of Compensation Experience
