Compensation Analyst

Orlando, FL

The Compensation Analyst provides compensation consulting and analytical support, reporting to the Compensation Manager. Working independently under the general supervision of the Compensation Manager this role will act as a compensation consultant for HR leaders, provide management with reporting, and analyze and review information to provide compensation recommendations. In addition, this position will interact with all levels of leadership and develop strong partnerships to identify and resolve compensation related issues.


The successful candidate will develop a broad understanding of compensation theory, practices, and applicable regulations in the role.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct job analysis and market studies for positions throughout the organization.
  • Review requests for promotions, demotions, and other pay adjustments and make recommendations.
  • Facilitate the annual compensation review process. Provide reporting and insights throughout process.
  • Respond to compensation benchmarking surveys; gather insights from survey results to identify market trends.
  • Assist in the development, analysis, implementation, and evaluation of new Total Rewards programs.
  • Lead, plan and/or provide support for projects.
  • Ensure programs and practices are in compliance with organizational policies, as well as state and federal regulations.


EDUCATION, TRAINING AND KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, accounting or related field.
  • Individual should possess a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational and planning skills and excellent results orientation.
  • Ability to handle strictly confidential sensitive information.
  • Ability to work accurately with detailed information.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral.
  • A team player who can interact with all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to meet commitments on multiple priorities in a fast paced, dynamic environment while using sound judgment to make accurate, efficient decisions.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Professional curiosity with a desire to learn subject matter and develop skills.


PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Coursework towards CCP
  • Human Resources experience
