Community Manager

ROLE

Working with the content creators, social media strategists, and consumer services, the community manager will ensure that brands have a thoughtful and engaged presence across their social media platforms. They will help plan, coordinate, and execute social content for brand campaigns. The community manager has multiple skills (content creation, copywriting, social analytics), is a self-starter, keeps up to date with social trends, and has a strong industry knowledge and wit. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in developing content solutions for social channels, analyzing business objectives, market trends, social ecosystems, and underlying brand KPIs for entertainment client.
  • Attend creative briefs in order to determine needs and objectives for content creation.
  • Plan, manage, and update detailed social content calendars.
  • Coordinate with the editor-in-chief and creative teams to ensure planned content is aligned with content goals and brand voice for each campaign.
  • Research, write, and create social content (text, photos, short videos, illustrations, etc.).
  • Manage consumer engagement through social conversations and moderation of all our clients’ platforms.
  • Manage the relationships with partners and collaborators when working on special projects.
  • Assist the strategist in analyzing various clients’ social media presence and performance analytics as they relate to their business goals.
  • Stay up to date with new trends related to social media, influencers and digital analysis tools.
  • Follow up on your allocated hours on a project.


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or other related field.
  • Strong knowledge of social trends (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Snapchat, etc.) and industry landscape.
  • Perfect knowledge of calendar management and social media monitoring tools.
  • Proficient with advertising platforms and media for social networks.
  • Proven knowledge of digital analysis tools.
  • Hands on experience creating and managing social content calendars.
  • Entertainment community management and agency experience preferred 
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop + Premiere).
  • Ability to understand regional culture and global nuances. 
  • Extremely detail oriented.
  • Creative with knowledge on internet subcultures.
  • Self-starter and solution oriented
