Community Impact Manager

What’s the job?

As the Community Impact Manager at Fiverr, you will play a vital role in shaping and executing our community strategy while contributing to our social impact initiatives, as needed.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to establish robust measurement frameworks, analyze data insights, and optimize strategies for driving engagement amongst our freelance community.

This role requires a highly organized individual with a background in project management, a passion for community building, and a keen understanding of marketing principles.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $80,000 - $90,000. Our salary is to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, locations and other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position may be eligible for commissions, bonus, equity and benefits.

This is a full-time hybrid position and requires candidates to work from Fiverr's office 3 times a week. 

What am I going to do?

  • Community Strategy Development: Support senior leadership in developing and executing Fiverr's community strategy, focusing on the acquisition, engagement, collaboration, and retention of high-quality freelancers in target markets.
  • Community Growth and Engagement: Implement creative growth marketing programs to increase membership and engagement within Fiverr's community platforms. Utilize marketing channels effectively to drive growth globally. Utilize marketing channels effectively to drive growth globally and foster a sense of belonging among users.
  • Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance community offerings and provide valuable resources and support to users. Identify opportunities for collaboration with external organizations aligned with Fiverr's mission and values.
  • Event Planning and Execution: Support team members in planning and executing in-person and virtual events that facilitate knowledge sharing, collaboration, and networking among users, as needed.
  • Content Development: Create compelling content to support community initiatives, including educational resources, inspirational content, and success stories. Curate and maintain an ongoing content library to enrich the community experience.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product, and retention, to support leadership in aligning community efforts with overall business objectives. 
  • Measurement and Reporting: Support leadership in defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of community-related activities on user engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Maintain reporting structures and dashboards to track progress and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Social Impact Support: Assist in executing social impact programs and initiatives. Contribute ideas and support the integration of social impact principles into community strategies.

What are the qualifications?

  • 2-4 years of experience in project management, community management, or related fields.
  • Proven track record of taking ownership of work and delivering results. Highly organized with an ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, manage competing priorities, and drive multiple projects forward independently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams, cultures, and communication styles.
  • Marketing expertise with an understanding of diverse marketing channels and growth strategies, particularly within the context of the evolving future of work landscape. This includes the ability to strategically leverage marketing channels to attract top talent, foster engagement, and drive impactful outcomes within our community.
  • Experience with event planning and execution, including budget management and vendor coordination.
  • Passion for community building and social impact, with a creative mindset and willingness to contribute innovative ideas.
  • Comfortable working with diverse teams and stakeholders, including remote teams and international partners.
  • Familiarity with dual-sided marketplaces or experience in working with entrepreneurs and/or freelancers is a plus.
  • Familiarity with community tools such as Splash, Socialive, Salesforce, is a plus.
