Partner with stakeholders to prioritize, develop, and analyze communications for MillerKnoll and Dealer field sales and design teams. Collaborate with key contributors to identify effective communication methods, ensuring content is clear, engaging, and aligned with top initiatives. Manage communication platforms, handle urgent leadership communications, and analyze metrics to evaluate the success of key initiatives. Drive process improvements, coordinate cross-functional teams, and act as the expert on audience preferences, content delivery, and engagement strategies.
Partner with stakeholders and contributors to identify the appropriate delivery methods and actions for given communication. Review contributor's content to ensure it captures and maintains the reader's attention, enabling them to grasp the main points quickly. Analyze communication metrics and report on the success of key initiatives Write, edit, and produce select content for internal field team communications. Collaborate with leaders of key initiatives to develop, maintain, and own a strong communication plan Manage existing communication software suite (The Field Lounge, email, Omni, etc.) and audiences. Manage crisis, urgent, and emerging communications with key stakeholders, often involving leadership, to ensure timely and effective messaging. Drive process improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and implementing solutions to streamline communication workflows Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional collaboration between departments to ensure alignment and effective execution of communication initiatives
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Business Administration or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in corporate, employee, or marketing communications.
- Previous experience in graphic design preferred.
Skills
- Strong writing, proofing, editing, and word processing skills.
- Skilled in managing a wide range of activities and multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Ability to effectively use office automation/communication software and tools currently used in the Herman Miller office environment, such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Office 365. Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint, Photoshop, and Adobe InDesign preferred.
- Proven ability to work in high pressure situations and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Self-directed, highly motivated, creative and attentive to detail.

A starting compensation range for this role is $60,500.00 - $75,575.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
