Zynga Communications is seeking a Communications Project Manager to support the PR and Corporate Communications team in creating and implementing communications plans and streamlining processes and workflows with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining strong, positive relations.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own strategy and execution for Zynga’s legacy live service PR opportunities.
- Project manage special Comms initiatives with work back plans.
- Manage budgets, finance, onboarding, and contracting for Comms team initiatives.
- Asset management with marketing and game teams for announcements, events, and other external communications.
- Manage team announcements and project calendars.
- Manage approvals/systems with external partners.
- Track employee speaking engagement requests and materials.
- Track competitor launches, deals, and PR initiatives.
- Track and manage award submissions.
- Zynga.com website upkeep for the Communications team.
- Help vet and approve 3rd party case study opportunities.
- Support external communications and media pitching across the wider comms team.
- Serve as Communications liaison for Zynga’s Ad Sales business (Direct & Programmatic).
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years experience in a communications and/or project management role, particularly in consumer technology or gaming/entertainment.
- Experience with media relations.
- Experience with project management and decision-making.
- Passion for games and entertainment.
- Familiarity with mobile games, both as a player and observer of the industry.
- Research and analytical experience (i.e., analyzing industry news and trends).
- Experience with project tracking software (e.g., Asana, JIRA, Airtable).
- Experience with media sourcing and reporting platforms (e.g., MuckRack).

This is a fully remote role that may be based anywhere in the United States. Below are the expected salary and wage ranges for applicants based in locations where the pay transparency law is in effect:
- Colorado: $75,100 and $111,160 per year
- California: $80,100 and $134,840 per year
- Illinois: $80,100 and $118,560 per year
- New York State (inclusive of New York City): $91,100 and $134,840 per year
- Washington: $75,100 and $111,160 per year
Base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
Employees will also receive 16 paid holidays per calendar year, unlimited discretionary time off, and will receive up to 6.5 sick days per calendar year. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
