Communications Manager

What we're looking for

Momentive, maker of SurveyMonkey, is looking for a Communications Manager to raise awareness and recognition for our brands with external audiences through multiple communications vehicles and tactics. You will report to the Senior Communications Manager and implement an effective public relations strategy – including campaigns and initiatives – to promote and increase visibility for SurveyMonkey, GetFeedback, and Momentive products.

You will

  • Implement communications programs that include developing content strategies, messaging/narratives, thought leadership plans, proactive media relations campaigns, and executive visibility programs.
  • Write press releases, media alerts, bylines, blog posts, key messages, fact sheets and other content for targeted audiences.
  • Write messaging documents and refine messaging to appeal to trade publications and geographic regions.
  • Manage relationships with company partners, our PR agency, vendors, and media.
  • Maintain close relationships with Product Marketing counterparts and other company partners to collaborate on product launches and storytelling moments.
  • Read relevant business and technology publications daily, and send interesting information from these publications to your teammates, so they may inform business leaders of their relevance.

You have

  • 5+ years of communications experience at either a public relations agency, in-house, or mix of both, with experience working with SaaS companies.
  • Comfort managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Success spotting business and technology trends and incorporating them into your work.
  • Experience writing content that strengthens the public voice of a brand.
  • The capacity to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
