The Enterprise Communications team at Greystar is a fast-paced, energetic group that serves as the voice of the Greystar brand and supports various business groups within the organization.


We drive communication efforts across Greystar’s internal and external platforms, including owned, paid, and social channels. 


The Communications Coordinator will be an integral member of the team responsible for all communications related to One Global Greystar. This role will support the day-to-day administrative needs of the Enterprise Communications team, serving as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, issuing and posting press releases, managing invoices related to the Enterprise Communications team, and assisting with ad-hoc projects.


The Communications Coordinator is a team player who demonstrates a strong desire for continuous learning and readily engages in various tasks and projects, jumping in where needed. Their proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude contributes to the team’s effectiveness in achieving objectives.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports the team in preparing internal and external communication materials, including briefing notes, email blasts, press releases, social media content, blog posts, videos, award submissions, conference materials, etc.
  • Participates in strategy meetings and supports the execution and implementation of communication strategies by distributing content across the appropriate internal and external channels and tracking key project initiatives, learning the core functions of effective communication within the organization.
  • Tracks news coverage, social media, employee intranet, and other relevant platforms to stay informed about industry trends and organizational mentions and ensure content posted on internal and external platforms is timely and relevant.
  • Manages all administrative and support needs for the team, including travel, scheduling, expenses, invoices, events, volunteer opportunities, etc.
  • Ad-hoc projects and expanded responsibilities over time.


BASIC KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, real estate, or relevant field.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Well-organized, able to work with deadlines, strong attention to detail, self-starter, and creative.
  • Demonstrated passion for public relations and real estate industries and looking for career advancement in this field.


SPECIALIZED SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities

Compensation is based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for an annual performance bonus that is based on individual and company performance.


Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, may be eligible for a discretionary weekly, monthly and/or quarterly bonus based on budget.
