Communication Associate Vice President

The role holder's principal accountability would be to design and execute internal and external communications plans to support business activities, in line with HSBC policies. Communications team would support internal communications for employees as well as external communications for a variety of audiences.


The role would report to a senior communications professional, though may also report to Business or Project managers when supporting particular campaigns


As our Communication Associate Vice President you will:

  • Use insight and engagement of stakeholders in determining communication needs
  • Design communications plans to support business activities and strategies
  • Participate in communication campaigns and projects to support business activities and strategies
  • Create engaging content in line with HSBC values and ensure alignment with Global policies
  • Ensure effective communication of HSBC priorities, company purpose and business activities to diverse audiences
  • Execute communications strategies internally and externally


For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $82,600 and $123,900.


The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

Requirements

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:

  • At least 5-7 years of experience working with senior level executives in an administrative capacity
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office, Canva and any editorial program
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • University degree or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of various computer applications.
  • Experience working in the financial services industry is preferred, but not required to be successful
  • Excellent typing, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills
