Civil/Environmental Engineer

Hunt Valley, MD

Opportunities

The candidate will consult with EA project managers and clients to determine how to meet project goals; manage and perform engineering design tasks; perform engineering calculations and evaluations; prepare reports; perform alternatives analyses; develop engineering plans and specifications; and provide guidance for projects under construction. This position will be tailored to a specific candidate’s experience and personal interest and is best suited for an individual that is excited to develop experience across a range of managerial and technical skills.


This position provides an opportunity to work on projects focused on:

  • Stormwater management and NPDES MS4 permit compliance.
  • Erosion and sediment control
  • Site development and civil engineering
  • Natural resources and coastal resiliency
  • Solid waste management
  • Other environmental and civil subject areas.


Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.), or Engineer-in-Training working towards a P.E.
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field.
  • 4 or more years of environmental infrastructure design experience, with a site/civil or stormwater management focus
  • Practical experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD, or MicroStation is required.
