Primary Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with OptumRx senior leadership to influence organizational vision and strategy for the segment and enterprise
  • Continually enhance the reputation of the organization within the community regarding behavioral health, addiction, treatment, and recovery and broaden community involvement
  • Provide effective strategic and operational leadership for Genoa pharmacies and support leaders in translating strategy and vision into actionable plans for teams and partners
  • Identify and implement transformational strategies to ensure that the company’s growth opportunities create long-term value
  • Collaborate closely with matrixed Finance, IT, and the People Team to ensure close relationships and holistic end-to-end success of the organization
  • Set financial, performance, and growth goals and work with leaders and partner teams to drive, measure, and manage progress
  • Work externally and across the enterprise to cultivate relationships and identify new business opportunities
  • Maintain an astute outside-in perspective with deep knowledge of the pharmacy market and landscape, monitoring emerging trends and capabilities to drive growth
  • Create a culture that empowers teams, values innovation, emphasizes people and performance management, employee engagement and values diversity, equity, and inclusion

Required Qualifications:

  • BA in Business, Finance, or equivalent degree or experience
  • 15+ years of experience as a senior leader with demonstrated success working in large, complex, highly matrixed organizations.
  • Experienced in setting vision and delivering on a consumer-oriented strategy
  • Proven collaborator that can effectively work cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated influencing skills to be leveraged both internally and externally with industry partners
  • Proven executive presence and EQ
  • Proven financial acumen and business orientation with a working knowledge of fiscal management and business development processes
  • Systems thinker demonstrating curiosity and a mindset for innovation
  • Experienced and successful change leader, driving results through wide-scale transformation and change

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy and/or health care experience preferably in behavioral health or long term care
