Cannabis Support CO-OP

Remote Windsor, ON

We are currently hiring for R&D Analyst Internship at our Research Center in Windsor, ON.


The Intern works with the team at the Research Center in Windsor Ontario and will be mainly responsible for collecting, organizing and summarizing financial and research data.


This unique position will also have the intern blend formulations of cannabis infused beverages and co-ordinate sensory tastings, compile data from sensory tastings and summarize key findings.


The position is also responsible for maintaining the blend lab and keeping the sensory labs clean and sensory neutral.


The Intern should have good time management skills and strong work ethic, but also enjoy the camaraderie and fun team events with the team.


You will learn how cannabis beverages are developed. You will also learn how to analyze and report financial and scientific data in a meaningful way to help influence business decisions. 


What You'll Brew:

  • Gathering data and analyzing to find compelling information needed to communicate to stakeholders
  • Blend prototypes for the following purposes
  • Organoleptic Tastings
  • Specification Alignment Blends
  • Product Optimization Blends
  • Stability Testing
  • Other blends as needed
  • How to set-up internal tastings including descriptive panel and alignment tasting panels from start to finish

What Ingredients You’ll Bring:

  • 2nd or 3rd  year of a Data Management or Finance Program
  • Data & Analytics education an asset, experience in Power BI, SharePoint and Microsoft Power Platform such as Microsoft Forms
  • Must be able to commit to a 8-12 month program
  • Must be 19 years of age or older
  • Valid SIN needed by first day of employment
  • Must be able to commute daily to the Windsor Location
  • Time management, data analysis, multi-tasking, organizational skills are essential
