Cannabis Facilities Specialist

St. Louis, MO

Our Facilities Specialist is responsible for making sure that our buildings and their services meet the needs of the people that work in them. Facilities Specialists are accountable for services such as safety, security, preventative and reactionary maintenance to ensure the surrounding environment is in a suitable condition to work. They are responsible for the general upkeep and maintenance of buildings so that they meet health and safety standards, including Wyld Food Safety standards.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist with equipment and facility repairs and monitor equipment performance
  • Maintain adequate equipment inventory
  • Maintain facility grounds
  • Navigate and utilize CMMS platform for tracking, logging, and completion of all tasks
  • Vehicle Maintenance Track and document all vehicle maintenance (oil changes, coolant, tire pressure, battery life, lights etc.), changes and additions
  • Perform or schedule repairs Consistently and regularly test and check all systems, fluids, hardware and software
  • Report safety and quality concerns regarding warehouse facility, equipment, and inventory to supervisor and/or manager
  • Assist in performing repairs, upgrades, and maintenance for buildings and equipment including, but not limited to: carpentry, electrical, mechanical, painting, plastering, drywalling, plumbing, and HVAC repair work
  • Meet with team daily, weekly and monthly to assess departmental and personal quota goals
  • Perform team and individual tasks as assigned while maintaining an efficient pace and high quality of work
  • Maintains physical space, ensuring a safe, clean, and functional environment.
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   • At least 1 year of related experience in facilities and fleet maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Some experience in building maintenance preferred including: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.
  • Must have some experience in fleet maintenance including: small engines, heavy equipment, and light trucks. 
  • Must have previous experience as a problem solver that thrives under pressure in a fast-paced environment who possesses a high attention to detail, prioritization, time management and organizational skills with a positive, goal orientated attitude.
  • Must be highly motivated and target driven. Computer Skills: Proficiency in Google apps
  • Language Skills: Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and written. 
  • Math Skills: Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division 
  • Willing to submit to a background check
  • Must obtain all state required: permits, licenses, certifications
  • ServSafe Food Handler’s Card preferred
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel required between buildings and sites  
  • State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to receive authorized vaccination against COVID-19


As a non-exempt employee, you'll receive a competitive hourly wage of $22.00/hr, overtime, Paid Holidays, PTO and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance.
