Business Quality Analyst


The candidate selected for this role will be knowledgeable in banking systems and be tasked with working alongside other business analysts and product management to make the ecosystem integration process a delightful experience for both internal and external resources. The Business Quality Analyst’s role includes but is not limited to the development of test scenarios, test cases and test plans, execution of test cases, overall creation and continuous improvements to the testing process and methodologies. The candidate should have strong experience in test development, execution, and analysis. Knowledge of lending, deposit, or general financial services experience a plus.

To succeed in this role the candidate should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with users to analyze information needs and gather testing requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Test documentation as it pertains to the Enterprise Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Interact with client and development teams on a regular basis to obtain requirement and design details.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and support testing efforts and general test strategies.
  • Develop, publish, and implement test plans.
  • Provide regular progress reports, status, and metrics to management
  • Develop thorough and organized documentation for test cases by clearly articulating test objectives, steps, and expected results
  • Design and execute workflow, test case plans, implementation points, and test data before development is complete
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and the collection of measures put in place to ensure consistency and improvement in the way we test software
  • Participate in defect detection and replication through automation, performance testing, and exploratory testing.
  • Monitor deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects
  • Assist in the analysis of competitor's product features, positioning and marketing, benefits, and pricing
  • Participate in ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements
  • Test and maintain all applications that are part of the banking ecosystem

Experience Required

  • 3+ years financial services experience
  • Self-driven to meet deliverables and project timelines
  • Knowledge and or experience with a variety of banking applications and detailed understanding of those interactions
  • Requirements Analysis experience
  • Experience working with a cross-functional team
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Ability to provide remote support for our bank customers during live and post live implementations which may include issue resolution and manual maintenance
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practice is a plus
  • Project management or product owner experience a plus
  • Software Implementation and configuration background
  • Baseline understanding of the principles of technology


  • Remote (telecommute) position within the contiguous United States.
  • Travel up to 10%.
