The Business Development Manager will develop and implement a sales plan for Refinish market segments and marketing programs of a USA region to meet growth and profit objectives. Travel will be up to 60% and will cover the San Francisco/ Northern CA area.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Management- Mentor, organize and develop a regional team that can meet growth and profit plans.
- Business Plan – Ensure the annual development of a regional business plan to meet department business objectives.
- Budget Development – Implement budget process and manage controllable expenses to budget.
- Develop Distribution – Identify by criteria top distribution; sell and service Distributors, and direct accounts.
- Growth Market Segments – Support and develop commercial coatings, business.
- Development and cross - SBU opportunities to support growth and profit objectives.
- Program Support – Develop personnel to sell value added services to increase product sales and promote customer loyalty.
- Policy Compliance – Ensure all business activities conform to PPG’s business conduct, quality, EH&S and EEO policies to preserve PPG’s image and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelor's Degree or Minimum 8 years combination of General Sales and Sales Management experience with knowledge of secondary distribution and selling into secondary distribution.
- Experience and understanding of Refinish marketplace.

Salary Range - $110,0.00 - $131,000.00
