Business Development Executive

Our Jersey City branch is looking for a new Business Development Executive to join their insurance team.

To support our growth in insurance solutions, we are hiring a person who is sales experienced and believe in delivering a high-quality experience to current and potential clients. You will deliver agreed portfolio targets through the development of our customers in the Northeast Area, working with Management, Customer Care teams and Sales teams to support the transfer of risk from the client to insurance policies. You will report to our National Nacora Manager.


Your Responsibilities

  • To identify, qualify and close new cargo insurance clients.
  • Quotation Preparation.
  • Customer set-up and implementation of new policies and agreements and renewal policies.
  • Set up reporting for new customers.
  • Analytics Reporting & Review.
  • E-insurance tool set-up and demo.


Your Skills and Experiences

  • You have or be available to obtain their resident P & C License in their home state and their non-resident P & C licenses in all states in the Kuehne + Nagel Northeast area.
  • 3+ years sales experience in freight forwarding/logistics/transportation or Cargo Insurance.
  • Summarize solutions to customer's goals.
