The Business Development Advisor ensures achievement of strategic revenue objectives for a specific market or industry segment. Plays proactive role in planning and design to ensure the product is differentiated from competitors. Keeps informed of and evaluates new and existing market trends for financial potential. Works with employee education, sales, customer support and product support on positioning products, designing demos, developing training courses, etc.


Responsibilities:

Software Prototyping eco system strategy and plan:

  • Market research to identify potential partners in the following areas:
  • Prototyping bring-up services and training
  • 3rd party extension cards and customization
  • Value-added 3rd party tools (e.g., SW debugger, JTAG tools, debug tools, etc.)


Software Prototyping market segment share growth strategy and plan:

  • Identify to be targeted applications/markets, regions, and customers
  • Create focused engagement strategies (e.g., what's needed to … gain access to Japan … accelerate automotive … storage … etc.)
  • Cooperate with WTO on identified high-probability engagements
  • Document the approach for easy replication
  • Identify product & solution requirements and enhancements


Enterprise Prototyping Got-to-Market strategy and plan:

  • Align initial (limited) product capabilities with winnable applications/markets
  • Identify teaching customers to score early wins
  • Document the approach for wider engagement with WTO
  • Identify key touch points in key target-accounts
  • Develop, in cooperation with WTO, multi-level relationship strategies, and engage

The salary range for this position is $145,700 to $262,300 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.  Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
