Develops communications to be used internally by a business line. Contributed to policies and programs to increase employee awareness and knowledge of activities affecting employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the development, implementation, and evaluation of internal communications, to include sales/service/operations, change management, employee engagement, and organizational initiatives.
- Prepare drafts of organizational announcements and respond to employee inquiries.
- Assist with intranet functions within the department.
- Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
- Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
- Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
- Complete other related duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
- Associate’s degree in communications or related field or equivalent in experience.
- Two years of related experience
- Relevant PC skills
- Knowledge of contemporary communications channels
- Design and publication skills
