Business Analyst II or III - Level will be determined by skills and experience of selected candidate

Location: This position is a remote opportunity. Preferred locations are within 50 miles of an Anthem facility in one of these states: IN, OH, VA, GA, or CA. Other locations within the US may be considered.

Hours: 8:00 am-4:30 pm (Local time), additional hours may be required

Business Analyst II - Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs.
Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
Acts as liaison with users and technology staff, of the software to address questions/issues.

Business Analyst III - Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.
Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.
Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.
May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Business Analyst II

Requires a BS/BA degree, 3-5 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
PEGA knowledge required.
Grievance and Appeals experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications: Business Analyst III

Requires a BS/BA degree, 5-7 years of business analysis experience that includes knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations; or any combination of education and experienced, which would provide an equivalent background.
Requires strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills, problem-solving skills, facilitation skills, and analytical skills.
PEGA knowledge required.
Grievance and Appeals experience strongly preferred.
