Business Analyst

Santa Monica, CA

Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence, you as the Business Analyst will help support the design, implementation, and distribution of Business Reports and Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) integrating sales, finance, HR, and operations data. You will also understand issues, gather data, conduct analysis and interpret data, while concurrently developing and updating KPI's, dashboards, scorecards and reporting.

BUSINESS /DATA UNDERSTANDING

  • Review and understand necessary Red Bull requirements
  • Review and interpret all current Sales, Finance, HR, and Operations data


DATA PREPARATION

  • Data cleansing and structuring to ensure quality data outputs
  • Interpret and distribute all reporting on established regular frequency as well as ad hoc basis
  • Provide training to end-users on use of reports
  • Identify ways to simplify and automate reporting


MODELLING OF DATA

  • Organize data in best way possible for regular and ad hoc reporting outputs
  • Determine all data modeling requirements needed to run regular and ad hoc reports
  • Test all data requirements before finalizing any form of reporting


EVALUATION

  • Document required procedures for all regular established reporting outputs
  • Analyze data, interpret, and create presentations for data outputs to guide to insights on recommendations
  • Documentation, presentation and review of outputs


Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Data Analysis or related role
  • Experienced with Microsoft excel (can perform complex functions) and VBA
  • Basic knowledge of statistical measures and techniques
  • Knowledge of or exposure to R, Python or other statistical programming languages/tools
  • Experience manipulating large datasets using SQL, SAP, Power Query, or Access
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and techniques
  • University degree preferred
  • English, additional languages an advantage
  • Travel 0-10%
  • Permanent
