Business Administrator

Redmond, WA

Cloud Operations + Innovation is seeking a skilled Business Administrator to provide support to a General Manager and their teams. This position will support the Data Center Construction Planning team. This role will take on a variety of tasks while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have organizational and communication skills, be able to proactively anticipate needs and shift priorities quickly, be self-motivated, self-aware, and have the ability to balance a sense of humor with a sense of responsibility.


Responsibilities

  • Complex calendar management 
  • Travel logistics and expense reporting 
  • Team SharePoint and OneNote creation and/or maintenance 
  • Procurement and management of supplies, hardware and assets
  • Space management
  • Headcount management, post job requisitions, set up/onboard new hires
  • Facility requests 
  • Maintain distribution lists and security groups as needed 
  • Ensure compliance of operational policies and procedures
  • Coordinate other projects as assigned
  • Serve as backup support to the Executive Assistant and be an active part of the Cloud Operations + Innovation Business Support community  
  • Morale event planning and organization
  • Escort business guests
  • Order and (deliver if needed) lunches for meetings
  • General Team support


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management.


Other Qualifications:

  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years experience serving as mentor to others.
  • 3+ years experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).

 

Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $27.40 - $46.49 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $37.84 - $52.98 per hour.
