Bulk Cannabis Specialist

Tyngsboro, MA

The Bulk Cannabis Specialist is responsible for ensuring maintaining the quality, and supply of our cannabis material. They will be responsible for managing the intake of cannabis materials, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination of material pickups.


  • Receives and track all cannabis materials with a high degree of accuracy while ensuring all graded products meet or exceed established standards.
  • Verifies all batch records submitted by Production department.
  • Determines cannabis materials required by Production department, ensuring that they can keep pace with their scheduled goals.
  • Generates cannabis infusions in our ERP, ensuring that materials are properly allocated.
  • Communicates with vendors to ensure invoice inaccuracies are corrected, and all returning materials are properly accounted for.
  • Routinely Reconciles ERP and Metrc inventory
  • Coordinates pickups or deliveries with vendors and Distribution Team
  • Coordinates closely with Compliance department to ensure METRC inventory is accurate and up to date.
  • Reviews all COAs for tested materials with Compliance department to ensure that only high-quality materials are used for finished goods
  • Forecasts inventory needs based on production schedule and coordinates with Procurement department to ensure the production schedule is maintained.
  • Uses judgement to ensure that best practices are being followed and inventory processes are improved.
  • Leads and supports staff to meet organizational goals, fostering teamwork and ensuring task completion.
  • Works closely with Production and Accounting to ensure accurate tracking and accounting of materials, facilitating effective communication and data integration between departments.

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Proven experience in cannabis material handling, inventory management, or a similar role.
  • Capable of providing clear, concise, and actionable feedback based on cannabis grading results.
  • Willingness to continuously refine grading skills and adapt to new grading methodologies as the cannabis industry evolves.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to grade cannabis based on traits
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments to ensure cohesive operation.

Education and Experience:

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years cannabis industry experience

Pay Rate: $65.000 - $75.000 Per Year
