Bilingual Administrative Assistant (Japanese)

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

  • Performs Japanese and English written and verbal translations, including translating written and verbal communications between Nintendo of America (NOA), Nintendo Co., Ltd (NCL), and second-party developers
  • Schedules and coordinates internal and external meetings, including domestic and international conference calls and videoconferences
  • Acts as point of contact and troubleshoots internal communication tools, such as Teams, SharePoint and Confluence
  • Assists with Contract Services and Budgeting
  • Prepares and transmits correspondence
  • Prepares reports and departmental presentations
  • Maintains department schedules
  • Acts as a liaison between other departments, both internally and globally
  • Coordinates travel arrangements; prepares expense reports
  • Distributes mail
  • Maintains department files
  • Orders department supplies
  • Coordinates special projects and department events


SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS

  • Five years of administrative/executive administrative support experience
  • Ability to communicate in fluent written and verbal Japanese and English
  • Excellent Keyboarding skills
  • Experience in a technical environment preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with US and Japanese business culture
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint)
  • Vocational certification as an executive secretary or equivalent
  • Japanese proficiency test Level I or native fluency
