Benefits Manager

Our client is currently seeking a Benefits Manager

 

The Human Resources Benefits Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day administration of all employee benefits, including health and welfare plans, 401k, and retirement, leaves of absence and workers compensation. 


The Benefits Manager will ensure that programs support the organization's strategic objectives and are compliant with current federal and state regulations. 


Benefits Manager Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in HR systems
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation and benefits packages, policies, and legislations
  • Experienced in MS Office
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and management skills


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a compensation and benefits manager or in a related role.
  • Relevant certifications, such as a CEBS or SHRM certification, preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of benefits and compensation programs, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience managing benefits and compensation in a Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong people and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
