Benefit Program Manager

Snowflake is excited to grow our team and find an experienced Benefits Program Manager to join our fun, high growth global company. Our ideal candidate has excellent communications and relationship-building skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong vendor management skills and subject matter expert in benefit administration and compliance laws. You’ll be responsible for managing LATAM and Canada benefit programs and vendors, helping us achieve our goals of providing world-class solutions for our employees and their families.  


IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Manage and administer LATAM and Canada benefits programs internationally including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, as well as time off programs such as sick and vacation. 
  • Manage benefit renewal process for each country including employee communications. 
  • Support implementation and management of Benefex in Canada  
  • Evaluate benefits policies and programs and make recommendations to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements. 
  • Partner with our global benefit consultant and local benefit brokers and vendors. 
  • Partner with third party administrators to resolve employee claim issues and inquiries as needed. 
  • Support projects focused on driving operational excellence around digital transformation of benefit systems and solutions. 
  • Research competitive regional and industry benefit trends and best practices for ongoing program evaluation through participation and analysis of benefit surveys, industry networking and other sources of information. 
  • Support new country entry initiatives by providing market intelligence on benefits, set up requirements and best-in-class benefit programs 
  • Be a collaborative partner to the HRBP and Recruiting teams 


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 8 years of LATAM and Canada benefits administration experience 
  • Spanish literacy required. Canadian French literacy a bonus. 
  • Experience in building market competitive benefit programs that provide an exceptional employee experience within a high-growth technology company 
  • Team player with ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners across the organization and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities with varying deadlines 
  • Self-motivated, organized and accountable with ability to demonstrate appropriate judgement needed to operate independently under limited supervision 
  • Working knowledge of international country specific regulations, filing and compliance requirements, affecting employee benefit programs, including statutory and insured pension plans. 
  • Experience with HR/Benefit Technology required. Preferably Benefex, Workday and ServiceNow. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving experience with a high attention to detail 
  • Strong project coordination skills and proven organizational skills and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment 
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) and customer service skills and ability to build partnerships and establish rapport and credibility at all levels. 
  • Team player with a sense of ownership and “get things done” attitude 


The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $126,000 - $193,200.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.


The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
