B2B Summer Sales Internship

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

Scope:  Assigned duties and tasks will vary upon business needs and timing. Intern will be assigned to one of our B2B or B2C sales teams.   

  • Complete daily/weekly tasks as determined by acting manager. (i.e., data analysis, research, project support, etc.) 
  • Manage of short- or mid-term projects, assigned by acting manager. 
  • Contribute to teams or committees as assigned by acting manager. 
  • Develop personal autonomy, professionalism, and Sales métier competencies. 
  • Familiarize self with Sales teams, learning their structure, area of responsibility, and processes. 
  • Other activities, as determined by acting manager and in support of the North American Sales Team. 


Assignment: ​

  • Assisting B2B Sales Teams ​
  • Manager will be either a B2B or B2C Sales Employee​​
  • Opportunity to be coached by a Michelin Account Management and gain experience across out our North American Sales organization​
  • Intern will be working directly with our customers and sales team to develop solutions. ​
  • Opportunity for smaller projects as needed ​

Deliverables:​

  • Deep understanding of the business by interacting through working with diverse teams​
  • Intern will interact with multiple teams to accomplish their project: Catman, BI, training/Marketing/Supply/etc. ​
  • Customer facing time – need to understand the customer’s business and how Michelin contributes ​
  • Proposals made to sales team and customer on opportunities discovered ​
  • Lead conversations with selected customers to uncover opportunities ​
  • Identify growth opportunities which could turn into long term solutions​
  • Develop and expand the relationships with selected customers by proposing and negotiating solutions that meet their needs​
  • Develop, implement and steer action plans to guide the activities with the selected customers​
  • Presentation at end of term to sales leadership on project ​​
