We are seeking an enthusiastic marketing professional to support the specialty pharmacy area of OptumRx.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. 


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the unique marketing needs of our specialty pharmacy business
  • Work with product managers, subject matter experts, sales and account management teams, and others to develop marketing materials and update content
  • Develop and deliver marketing collateral, slide content and other materials related to our capabilities and services
  • Support product launches, including development of marketing materials and training content 
  • Develop and distribute field-facing and client-facing communications
  • Coordinate the development of marketing projects with Creative Services Team
  • Ensure branding and messaging are consistently utilized across all marketing materials 
  • Support other marketing initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Communications or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of work experience in a Marketing or Communications role
  • 2+ years of professional writing and editing experience
  • Knowledge of B2B Marketing
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS office Products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working in the Healthcare Industry
  • 1+ years of experience in the pharmacy care services or specialty pharmacy industry
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro 
  • Demonstrated ability to clarify, manage and prioritize several deliverables to meet deadlines. 
  • Demonstrated self-starter and team player
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work with a wide range of colleagues and subject matter experts
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines

Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
