Create exciting, cutting-edge audio-visual videos aimed at promoting animal rights for the campaigns of PETA and its international affiliates
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- In consultation and verified compliance with the objectives, standards, and requirements communicated by PETA and its affiliates:
- Create exciting, cutting-edge videos for PETA and its affiliates
- Design, direct, and conduct video shoots
- Work closely with the manager and the director of the Audio/Visual Department on creative aspects and production of all videos
- Use discretion in choosing appropriate footage for video edits
- Take responsibility for the quality control of videos
- Perform light maintenance on all video and photographic equipment and supplies
- Transfer footage from various locations
- Abide by any legal guidelines regarding video production from start to completion
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Degree in a related field and five years of related experience
- Extensive editing experience, including but not limited to experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Familiarity with industrial-grade video and photo equipment
- Sophisticated understanding of and appreciation for the creative process
- Proven effective leadership skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proven ability to deal professionally with staff members and the public
- Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Proven ability to work under tight deadlines in a professional manner
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid U.S. driver's license, a minimum of three years of driving experience, and a satisfactory driving record
