Associate Digital Marketing Manager

Vallejo, CA

The Associate Digital Marketing Manager owns the online presence and content of the brand, as well as the brand’s website and direct-to-consumer communications via email and SMS. The Associate Digital Marketing Manager supports our marketing strategy, helps build the brand and grow consumer loyalty. In this role, you will work within the brand team, collaborating closely with the Brand Manager and Head of Brand to spearhead innovative and creative ways to engage with consumers, tell our brand story and grow the brand’s DTC business.

 

Essential Job Duties:

  • Along with the Head of Brand, design and oversee all aspects of our DTC digital marketing efforts, including our marketing database, email, and digital advertising campaigns.
  • Analyzes media dashboards (internal and agency-provided) to make performance-driven recommendations related to campaign, creative, and media channels.
  • Support the Head of Brand on developing the brand’s website promotional calendar in partnership with the DTC team.
  • Support the Head of Brand on developing agency’s quarterly briefs.
  • Partner with the DTC team to execute promotions, programs, and CRO optimizations to deliver the website’s revenue plan.
  • Partner with the DTC team to optimize website content and structure for improved SEO and organic search visibility.
  • Develop an executive business summary/tracker to analyze DTC performance and email/SMS campaigns.
  • Evaluate important metrics and provide strategic recommendations to improve the health of our DTC online business (traffic, conversion rate, AOV, LTV, contribution margin, ROAS, service rate, etc.).
  • A/B test various elements to determine the most effective strategies for driving user engagement, conversion and improved ROAS.
  • Assist with agency engagement when needed.
  • Engage with license partners as needed.
  • Working with your team to brainstorm new and innovative ideas and growth strategies.
  • Overseeing and managing all contests, giveaways, and other digital projects.
  • Partner with internal teams and agencies to create and execute digital content and advertising that conveys each brand’s story in compelling, engaging, and creative ways.
  • Plan and implement content calendars for email, SMS and social platforms, ensuring campaigns and content align across platforms and with broader brand communications, to tell cohesive brand stories.  
  • Collaborate with Consumer Relations on social media community moderation and messaging when needed.
  • Develop, implement and track automated email flows and campaigns, and oversee first-party base KPIs (open rate, CTR, revenue, loyalty etc).
  • Understand and effectively express the brand identity and strategy in all creative executions, including copywriting.
  • Track and analyze content performance, test and iterate to optimize results.
  • Stay current with content strategies, trends, and best practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Digital Marketing field, with proven ability to drive impactful results with modest means. 
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful digital marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and consumer insights to inform marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrate ownership and a drive attitude.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with key stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interface with all levels of Meyer employees and vendors.
  • Able to give oral presentations and prepare professional presentations utilizing PowerPoint and digital media.
  • Detail-oriented and possess conceptual/creative skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and establish (and re-establish) priorities for self and team.
  • Comfortable managing and optimizing media and/or brand budgets.
  • Experience managing photoshoots and video shoots.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, G Suite, and e-mail applications.
  • Communicate effectively in English both in verbal and written formats.
  • Must possess the mental and physical capacities to perform the job duties.

 

Working Conditions:

Work is performed primarily indoors, although some outdoor tasks are required. Lighting is artificial. Equipment used includes standard office equipment i.e. computer, telephone, copy machine. Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, use of right and both hands. Hours and days are primarily Monday through Friday with some evenings and weekends. Position requires close contact with Meyer employees and vendors.
