Assistant Manager, Network Development

The Commercial Strategy team supports Exco in defining the strategic vision for Cartier North America and supports the network teams with action plans:

  • Define priorities (setting objectives: sales forecasting, KPI…)
  • Arbitrate budgets (Capex, Headcount, boutique structure, Compensation scheme principles)
  • Develop/implement key projects aligning with the client experience and client development opportunities for all commercial channels & ensure stakeholders are aligned
  • Define new areas of potential business for Cartier North-America

 

Main accountabilities/objective of the position

 

Existing Network Strategy:

Boutique Footprint Strategy

  • Contribute to Network Strategy with market research (competition, macroeconomics, urban development schemes etc.) and internal data analysis for 360 insights
  • Contribute to Boutique Footprint Strategy with market research (competition, macro-economics, urban development schemes etc.) and support Senior Manager & Manager with Retail briefs for new boutiques and Investment requests to get HQ’s approval
  • Participate in special/transversal programs and projects (Boutique openings, Task Forces, 3Y sales plan & capex management etc.)

 

Retail Projects Investment Requests

  • Support team with presentations for each market addressing the strategic objectives and summarizing the findings, recommendations for development and related business forecasts (sales, people, investment)
  • Support team with investment request to Cartier headquarter (scorecards, retail briefs)

 

Data / Business Analytics

  • Provide reports – as needed - to support the existing network and liaise with various teams to analyze from a 360 angle


New business opportunities:

  • Develop and maintain Business Intelligence base (feedback from boutiques, market/competition research etc.) to identify new areas of potential business
  • Participate in the implementation of new initiatives with internal teams


Other

  • Provide administrative support to the team, as needed
  • Work on presentations, as needed
  • Carry out project management activities such as meeting coordination, minutes, and project status reporting


Qualifications:

  • College degree in Business / MBA
  • Minimum 2 years of prior experience in an analytical / consulting role
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity, outside of the box thinking to bring new ways to find information/trends and present recommendations in an Executive way
  • Ability to produce sophisticated decks & materials, which can be consumed immediately by business / commercial functions
  • Strategic, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Listening and communication skills with the ability to problem-solve
  • Organizational skills: ability to prioritize and manage several projects simultaneously, attention to detail
