Assistant, Business & Legal Affairs

Hello Sunshine is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Assistant, Business & Legal Affairs. This individual supports the deal process and administrative tasks for the Business & Legal Affairs team. This person manages communication and coordination between internal and external key stakeholders, managing timelines and tracking agreements, documents, and internal documentation processes.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain administrative tasks for the Hello Sunshine Business & Legal Affairs team, including general scheduling assistance, request processing, and day-to-day task management
  • Ensure all internal documents and document requests follow the appropriate internal processes and protocols, including proper review, approval and execution
  • Create summaries of projects and executed agreements for internal purposes
  • Organize agreement details to ensure timelines, invoicing and deliverables are met
  • Assist with legal entity formation, updated organization charts, and timely entity compliance with applicable federal, state, and regulatory authorities
  • Coordinate across departments and external parties for required items and information
  • Conduct industry and market research as well as risk assessments for new projects
  • Prepare and present analysis and informed recommendations
  • Remain current with industry trends and best practices, and changes in applicable laws


Requirements

  • 2+ Years’ experience in an administrative role with a business or legal affairs department, company, law firm, talent agency or similar experience
  • Experience in contract management and review is preferred
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure and manage a varied, high-volume workload
  • Organized, detail-oriented, efficient and quick-learning
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
