Analyst, Strategic Market Analytics

The Strategy & Market Analytics team works with key stakeholders in product development, marketing, and sales to deliver market intelligence and develop, recommend, and support the execution of impactful strategies. The Analyst position is a great opportunity to build expertise in specific product categories through projects, value-added analytics, and market tracking/reporting and to work with high-performing colleagues and stakeholders.


The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in critical thinking, analytics, and presentation development with a passion for learning. The candidate will also have strong communication skills. Finally, the candidate will be able to help identify analytics and projects to improve the business.


This position will be based out of Epson America’s headquarters in Los Alamitos, CA office with a hybrid work schedule, where you can choose the 6 days per month you would like to work from the office.

Key Accountabilities include:

  • Delivering value-added analyses and market intelligence to provide key insights
  • Prepare market and company business reports and presentations for stakeholder teams
  • Supporting strategic projects through the development of business cases, industry & competitive landscapes, and key recommendation analyses

What you will bring:

  • Have 2-3 years of experience in market analytics and/or strategy consulting
  • Demonstrated skills in defining problems, analyzing, and synthesizing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations
  • Experience in the analysis of large data sets to develop insights and learnings
  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint
  • Experience in Monthly Reporting and Processing (Excel, Access, Power BI)
  • Experience with Power BI, Access
  • Knowledge of syndicated media research & systems (NPD, GfK, IDC) a plus
  • Consumer goods experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) required; MBA a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus


The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $68,916. and $124,005. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
