Analyst, Sales

The Watch team (LMH -La Montre Hermès) supports all sales activities of timepieces and after sales service to Hermès retail boutiques, external network, department stores and .com point of sales. The team initiates operational and logistical support while organizing and conducting trainings. We partner with our POS to plan and partake in events to promote the watch division within each market through internal marketing and external public relations. 


As the Sales Analyst of LMH (Fine Timepiece Division) you will be responsible for allocating and transferring stock across the network, via stock replenishment and rebalances. You will also analyze the performance of the division to report KPIs and identify sales and stock opportunities. The position reports into the Director of Sales, working closely with Sales Account, Marketing and Communication, and E-commerce teams.


About the Role: 

  • Allocate and transfer core watches and straps to optimize inventory across the distribution center and boutiques 
  • Prepare and maintain the data files to generate weekly watches replenishment proposals; communicate systematic uploads with IT as needed
  • Maintain the appropriate straps & buckles min/max systematically and approve biweekly strap & buckle replenishment
  • Place monthly reorders for straps and buckles
  • Prepare order forms and recaps for novelty purchases
  • Propose rebalances and allocations for watches and straps in preparation of new model stock implementations and as needed upon request
  • Assist with the creation of model stock templates for watches and straps
  • Provide accurate performance results and analysis to influence the team’s action plan (sales & stock opportunities)
  • Reconcile sales data monthly to confirm the audited figures with finance
  • Maintain an accurate record of deposits pending delivery
  • Maintain consistent visibility of key pieces on Hermes.com through shared stock recommendations and regular reviews of the E-commerce offer and inventory
  • Ensure consistent pricing between POS and internal documents; reply to pricing inquiries as needed

About You: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of merchandise planning or related experience 
  • Self-starter and able to work in and create a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Must be organized with attention to detail along with great follow up and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple work projects with tight timelines
  • Ability to synthesize and/or reconcile data between different systems
  • Strong technical aptitude with advanced competency in Microsoft Excel


The range for this position is $60,519.75 - $81,879.66 annually. Actual rates are determined based on the job, location, and individual experience.
