Analyst Logistics

The Logistics Analyst will be working under the supervision of the US Inventory Lead, thinking creatively and contributing ideas both internally and externally while ensuring the efficient flow of goods through our D2C network. This role requires the ability to analyze and summarize information while troubleshooting a wide range of issues. The Logistics Analyst leads and designs forecasting tools, acts as the Point of Contact for D2C logistics questions and troubleshoots quality/inventory issues as they arrive. Logistics analyst will evaluate data and make recommendations to management on how to improve reporting while also acting as the Inventory lead for Hasbro’s D2C environment. This position requires strong written and analytical skills and the ability to work in a cross functional teams-based environment to accomplish strategic and tactical goals.


A Day in the Life of a Logistics Analyst:

  • Support relationships with third-party logistics providers; identify and document requirements, expectations, and needs.
  • Analyze metrics and summarize results through daily, weekly, and monthly reports to internal management and external providers.
  • Partner with U.S. Logistics Team (internal/external) to meet operational needs.
  • Partner with Internal Audit team to meet inventory requirements.
  • Prepare and design training documentation.
  • Provide weekly analysis of Order Planning consolidation efforts.
  • Build & manage forecasting tools to help measure against internal KPI's.
  • Coordinate 3PL & D2C warehouse inventory movements & action daily reconciliation adjustments.
  • Analyze metrics to identify areas for risk mitigation and process improvement.
  • Ensure timely decisions are made for issues requiring immediate attention; leverage internal/external partner insights and data to guide decisions.
  • Identify and initiate process changes with D2C warehouses/Order Planning Consolidation/internal systems issues impacting work processes.
  • Assist with on-site & virtual Cycle counts for 3PL & D2C Warehouse inventory audits.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce cost via system improvements, procedure changes, etc.
  • Collaborate with US Logistics team and D2C Account Support to actively communicate business improvement opportunities & overall D2C business statuses.
  • Maintain open communication with internal and external partners to provide vital information for D2C issues or delays.
  • Actively contribute to development and implementation of D2C Domestic initiatives as established by Logistics Manager/Sr. Director for North America.

 

What You'll Bring:

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business or Business Administration.
  • Preferred 1-2 years of supply chain analytical experience.
  • Experience in North America logistics/operations.
  • Proven Analytical Experience.
  • Working knowledge of SAP/ERP.
  • Knowledge of logistics terminology and relevant data elements for reporting/analysis.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate at a variety of levels internally and externally, written and verbal.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, including management of carrier accounts and capability to work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Ability to acquire new skills and conduct research independently.
  • Competency in other Microsoft Office applications.
