Analyst I Infrastructure Services Warehouse SNOW

DXC employee will manage SNOW shipping requests that they have assigned to themselves, have been assigned to them by the local scheduling teams or requests received via email. SNOW shipping request tasks need to be prepared and closed within timely manner. DXC employee will review each SNOW/email request and pull the appropriate equipment as stated in the request. If equipment is out of stock for any SNOW request, ticket must be updated with comments in the work notes section of the task.


If there are any delays with completing the assigned SNOW task in the required timeframe, the ticket must be updated with comments in the work notes section of the task to explain the delay and provide a timeframe of when the delay may be resolved. All SNOW requests must be checked on a daily basis and updated with new notes if necessary. DXC employee will validate the provided SNOW ticket number against their depot’s inventory spreadsheet to ensure the SNOW ticket is not a duplicate request.


Forklift experience is a most.


Duplicate request meaning: A ticket has an asset assigned to it so another asset cannot be issued to this same ticket.


If request has been identified as a duplicate request, DXC employee will place the task on hold for further investigation. DXC employee will review the information in the SNOW request or email and pull the appropriate equipment as stated in the request. All Raytheon local movement documents being created must list the quantity of boxes, quantity of equipment, quantity of pallets, list of asset numbers, snow ticket (if applicable) and the description of all other items being shipped.


Note: If equipment is being shipped off-site, an off-site Raytheon shipping document will be required with the same information captured in the local movement document.


If equipment is being shipped off-site to an assigned depot, a SNOW transfer order must be created to account for all assets being shipped. DXC employee will work with the local Raytheon dock employees to ensure equipment is protected for local transport to designated building.


One Raytheon local movement document and off-site Raytheon shipping document (if applicable) will be placed on each pallet or box being shipped. DXC employee will update their depot’s inventory spreadsheet to show what equipment has been shipped. DXC employee will update their SNOW task by listing the Raytheon local movement document, off-site Raytheon shipping document (if applicable), transfer order (If applicable), asset numbers and description of items shipped. All shipping documents created will be kept for depot records and attached to the SNOW/email request and filed away.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Typically, 1+ years of relevant work experience
  • Experience with Forklift a most.
  • Proven experience in infrastructure technology analysis
  • Proficiencies in data analysis and technical knowledge
  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology


Other Qualifications:

  • An advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
  • Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Google Cloud Associate, are a plus


Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $39,800 - $65,000.
