How will you make an impact in this role?

American Express Global Commercial Services (GCS) offers powerful backing and support that helps companies of all sizes gain financial savings, control and efficiency. We provide a suite of payment and lending products, solutions for travel and everyday business spending, cross border payments, global currency solutions, and business financing.


The Global Commercial Services Marketing team is responsible for creating an end-to-end global marketing strategy for our prospect & customer segments around the world.


The Global and US Large Enterprises (G&L) Marketing vision is to deliver essential value to Customers and Field colleagues through best-in-class B2B marketing. The Analyst, Corporate Card Member Marketing will contribute to the G&L marketing vision by implementing multichannel communications and campaigns including digital campaigns, site marketing, and paid media.


We ultimately want to leverage these channels to inspire and educate Card Members and build meaningful, deep and loyal relationships.


This person will support a manager, helping to assess the current experience, identify areas for improvement, and implement change through marketing execution and operations.


This Analyst will join a dynamic and cross functional team, collaborating closely with partners across the Enterprise to support a critical and strategic priority for the company – driving Card Member engagement via clear, consistent, and compelling messaging to Corporate Card Members (CMs). 


This role is open to Analyst and Sr Analyst applicants.


Specific responsibilities include:

  • Help to develop and execute best-in-class 360-degree surround sound marketing plan to drive Corporate Card Member engagement and spend.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert & champion for the customer segment
  • Support marketing campaigns set-up and manage execution tasks across all channels in various systems and platforms
  • Analyze data to identify opportunity areas and deliver recommendations
  • Manage relationships with external agencies from creative development to flawless execution
  • Build cross-functional relationships across multiple internal and external partners: Middle Market Corporate Marketing team, Product Management, Brand, etc.
  • Act as primary point of contact with our Compliance and Legal partners to drive adherence to all applicable rules and regulations
  • Provide regular campaign status reports to Marketing Manager with actionable recommendations
  • Manage Ad Hoc projects


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong track record of driving results, analyzing data, reporting and trends. (i.e. KPIs tracking, scorecards)
  • A passion for creating engaging customer experiences to support our brand
  • Self-starter who can thrive in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
  • Superior project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with precise attention to detail and strong process-oriented mindset.
  • Creative eye, with a passion for designing visually compelling and effective marketing communications in partnership with creative agencies
  • Enthusiasm for helping collaboration and sense of humor is a must!


Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
