Analyst Compensation

Houston, TX

The Compensation Analyst will be responsible of managing the company's compensation plans, incentive programs and policies in order to attract, motivate and retain the best talent. This position will monitor and validate hourly employee configuration in the HRIS systems to ensure they are paid accordingly.


Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain HR information accurate in HRIS systems: Success Factors and Kronos/Dimensions
  • Responsible for auditing payroll information to validate people is paid correctly.
  • Generate reports, standard and as requested. 
  • Develop a complete knowledge of all the HR tools/ platforms and maintain these systems as necessary.
  • Assist with questions pertaining to Time & Attendance and payroll.
  • Obtains and analyzes salary market data, makes recommendations to Director Compensation & HRBPs - Responsible for completing various salary surveys within our industry and other companies.
  • Administer all incentives programs by providing earnings information, review participants eligibility, calculations and overall compliance.
  • Responsible for standardizing and running merit processes for all employees.
  • Reviews and elaborates Compensation policies, SPDs and processes for all compensation programs.
  • Ensure each program is compliant with all Federal and State laws.
  • Must work very closely with Compliance team on special projects, as necessary.
  • Able to communicate HR processesand the implementation of new programs and policies by working closely with Field HR, Operations Management, BSO Payroll and the Legal department.
  • Must be willing to develop and share HR expertise in the redesign and development of effective HR processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required
  • 1-3 years of Compensation experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field required
  • Minimum of two years of Compensation experience preferred


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Intermediate experience in Microsoft Excel required, advanced experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills required
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong ability to interpret and analyze compensation data (examples of prior work may be requested)
  • Prior HR experience in Construction or Manufacturing environment preferred 


Working Conditions

  • Job involves sitting most of the time with walking or standing for brief periods of time
  • Capable of working in an open concept office environment


Physical Requirements

  • Walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, to communicate to employees/visitors
  • Requires stationary position, traverse, move, transport, and the ability to significant degree to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, or position
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with employees and other individuals as well as function safely within an office environment and, on occasion, may visit industrial plant locations
