Key Responsibilities:

1. Lease Administration: Review, interpret, and administer lease agreements, ensuring accurate and timely lease data entry and maintenance in lease administration database. Monitor lease expirations, rent escalations, tenant improvement allowance recovery, and other critical dates.

2. Financial Management: Track and administer billing, rent payments, and operating expense reconciliations. Work closely with internal partners and third parties to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payments. Address inquiries related to lease terms and payments.

3. Compliance and Legal Support: Maintain awareness of lease obligations and deadlines, ensuring compliance with lease terms. Assist in the coordination of legal documentation related to lease agreements, including lease amendments, extensions, renewals, and terminations.

4. Landlord Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for landlords regarding lease-related inquiries, changes, and issues. Communicate effectively with landlords, property managers, and management agents to address concerns.

5. Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular lease administration reports, including lease abstracts, occupancy, and financial performance reports. Analyze lease data and trends to support strategic decision-making.

6. Lease Documentation: Organize and maintain lease files and documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

7. PowerPoint: Create slides to present real estate data to internal and external teams.

8. Excel: Build financial models using finance functions such as NPV, PV, and other time value functions.  

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial lease administration, property management, or real estate finance.
  • Proficiency in lease management software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong understanding of commercial lease terms, financial concepts, and legal documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
  • Self Starter
