Analyst, Ad Sales Learning and Development

New York, NY

The Analyst on the Ad Sales Learning and Development Team provides critical first-level system support to the Ad Sales (specifically Sales Associate) team, assists in Sales Associate training and development and upkeep of all training and reference documentation.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth Digital media experience, familiarity with ad sales systems such as Operative.One and Salesforce and will assist the Senior Analyst and Senior Manager to develop and innovate ways to teach users the latest tools, products, and advances in the advertising market.



  • Serve as a main point of contact for all Sales Associates that need help with any aspect of their role
  • Schedule new Digital Sales Associate training and assist in leading live training demonstrations
  • Score knowledge checks, challenges and 1:1 assessments at the completion of training
  • Keep track of training attendance, completion records and knowledge check scores
  • Continuously monitor all updates to process and workflow and make changes to training resources and documents as needed
  • Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations to Senior Manager to enhance process and operational efficiencies
  • Partner with groups such as Sales, Yield and Ad Operations to optimize workflow 
  • Translate internal resources into actionable learning assignments, courses, and knowledge checks
  • Help new users gain access to all necessary applications and programs 
  • Assist in special projects needed to meet organizational goals


Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree (or equivalent training and experience)
  • 1 year of Ad Sales experience at a media company, agency, ad network, publisher
  • Basic understanding of Operative.One and Salesforce

  • Basic knowledge of learning platform WorkRamp
  • Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate critical thinking ability
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of Digital Ad Sales/Operations processes and pitch to pay workflow
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and time management skills

Hiring Salary Range: $65,000.00 - 73,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. 

The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
