Accounting Manager

As an Accounting Manager, you have in-depth knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, proficiency in accounting systems, and strong motivation to contribute to the achievement of an efficient close and financial reporting process. You champion accounting quality, effectively manage your team, deliver results under deadlines, and work effectively cross-functionally in a rapidly changing environment.

This position is an individual contributor reporting to Sr Accounting Manager - Capital Assets and is designated Flex.

Responsibilities

Review monthly journal entries, reconciliations, and accounting analysis for fixed assets, intangibles and capitalized software
Manage the quarterly capitalized software scoping and act as a liaison to business partners on capitalized software accounting
Ensure appropriate application of accounting policies and SOX compliance
Support PwC reviews and audits
Partner with Accounting Operations on process improvement and automation projects
Liaison with FP&A to develop reporting requirements and drive accountability within the business

Basic qualifications

BA/BS degree with a CPA or equivalent
8+ years accounting experience – Big 4 or large regional accounting preferred

Preferred qualifications

High degree of analytical and problem-solving capability
Thorough understanding of US GAAP
Excellent organization, management, and leadership skills
Experience in a large corporation or SaaS technology company
Experience with Oracle or other large well-known ERP / accounting systems
Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
