Account Sales Intern, Summer

Role and Responsibilities

Position Summary and Project Details:

  • Contribute to improving Samsung’s market share in the corporate liable employee phone market by studying how employees choose their work phone and designing programs that will increase choice of Samsung.
  • Contribute to maximizing individual liable sales from enterprise employees through Samsung’s Save@Work program. Design and project manage marketing campaigns to drive sales.
  • Work closely with internal SEA stakeholders and cross functional teams to execute marketing strategy.
  • Collect key insights on current end user sales programs to determine what works and what does not. Then design plans to address key insights.


General Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the development and management of sales and marketing programs that will increase corporate employees choice for Samsung for their work phone.
  • Assist in the development and management of marketing programs that will increase revenue collected through the Samsung save@work program.
  • Work with customers and Samsung key account managers to understand key insights into what works vs what does not work. Then develop a plan to address key insights.
  • Project manage cross functional work streams between marketing, sales operations, sales, finance, and ecommerce to execute end user sales programs.
  • Study and understand the end user’s journey to identify key points of focus for our sales and marketing programs.
  • Build and manage KPI dashboards that will help us measure the success of each of our end user sales programs.\


Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Working toward BS/ MBA with concentration in marketing or project management
  • Experience with strategy consulting, technology strategy, financial analysis, etc
  • Passion for improving consumer electronics experience and bringing technology to market
  • Self-starter with desire to learn and contribute


Internship Eligibility:

  • Must be enrolled in an accredited University
  • Proper work authorization
  • Maintain a 3.0 or higher GPA
  • Attend New Hire Orientation on first day
