They specialize in female voices and securing opportunities for women to tell their stories in front of new audiences through podcasting and traditional PR. In addition to running Podcast Tours, Scout’s Agency also secures press features and books high profile guests onto podcasts.

  • Someone who is on the pulse of today’s podcast, digital content, and influencer landscape.  
  • Someone who has experience in client relations/customer service and feels comfortable being client facing.
  • PR background is a plus. 
  • Love for podcasts!
  • Likes to jump right in, take ownership over their role, and wants a voice at the table.
  • Located in San Diego, California and willing to come into our beautiful concrete offices weekly on a flexible schedule.

Job description: The account manager is the day-to-day point of contact for a designated client. The account manager always has the client’s best-interest in mind, cheering them on, making them feel heard and supported, and always understanding how to make their life easier while working on their account every week. They are fully versed in the client’s brand, podcast, business, or expertise and are looking ahead to future opportunities for them. Weekly duties include pitching, scheduling opportunities, building podcast lists, and managing the flow of a client's account. The account manager reports to the Director of Clients.

Job Duties:

  • Knowing, memorizing, & holding it to your heart - the client narrative!
  • Running the onboarding call 
  • Overseeing onboarding process
  • Creating media/podcast/guest lists for your accounts
  • Weekly pitching 
  • Weekly follow-ups 
  • Organizing/scheduling opportunities (podcast appearances/press interviews) with the client
  • Reporting client health to Director of Clients
  • Strategizing for client as well as implementing that strategy with Director of Clients
  • On-call when a client has a podcast interview/press interview to troubleshoot last minute cancellations or technical difficulties
  • Weekly update email to client
  • Taking status report calls with client
